hi folks!
happy spring!
its been a stirring time for me and for most of us, i think, as spring often is. so much going on!
here are some exciting updates for you!
first off: its a....benefit show!! for.... our very own food coop in south austin!!! yaaaay!! you can come to this sunday afternoon show and become a member right then, thereby decreasing your entry fee by 2/3rds. look at this fun line up! i think matt, noelle and i (not to mention noelles excellent accompaniment and husband, andre moran) will be doing some rounds later in the day (between 5pm and 7pm), with the young grace london to join us!
come early (3pm) and you get the extra benefit of laura freemans rousing kids show. (she rules.)

BUT! IF YOU REALLY WANNA HEAR WHATS NEW WITH ME, you should come to the 8pm flipnotics show on saturday april 3rd, where ill attempt the courage perform even more new material solo, (newer than my yet to be released cd) and some more familiar material with the most amazing john fremgen on bass... (to boot, MICHAEL SHAY and the JUST DESSERTS will follow at 10pm!)

LASTLY!
im very excited about doing some shows with joel laviolette's band, RATTLETREE!! molly venter and i did a south by southwest showcase with them and had a blast! SO we will play next at city hall on april 24th, details to follow. (or see rattletree.com)
(ok one more thing! i have to tell you because it is soo exciting. im enrolled at the institute for integrative nutrition to be a certified holistic health councellor, and it is good!)
